Here you will find answers to a lot of general questions regarding the MA3 Template Showfile V2 and its versions LITE, PRO, ULTRA.
1As a V1 owner, which version will i receive as a free upgrade?
All V1 users will automatically receive an upgrade to V2 PRO. You will receive a new personal download link within 1-3 days after release.
2Is it possible to upgrade to a higher version, for example from LITE to PRO?
Yes, definitely. The costs always result from the respective difference, so you can start with LITE without hesitation and see if this version is sufficient for you. There are no additional costs.
3How long do I get free updates?
For at least one year, check our License Agreement for details (https://mblightarts.de/ma3-developments-policies).
However, we have great interest in keeping the Template Showfile usable for a long time and will also not release a new version every year.
As long as the structure of the file continues to make sense according to the MA3 software development, we will maintain the Template Showfile and you will receive free updates.

1How to setup the Template Showfile for a new stage layout?
Setting up the file is simple and can be done in a three step process. Adapt your patch, adapt your groups and update your presets.

2Is it an issue to delete all the fixtures from the patch?
Not at all. The file is not build as a clone show. You can use it that way and it makes sense to keep presets up and running for your standard fixtures, but for the file itself it makes no difference. You can either replace fixtures in the patch or delete them and start from scratch.
3Is it possible to add custom content easily?
Yes, absolutely. The Template Showfile V2 is fully based on cue recipes and a structure with playback masters. So you can easily adapt all the content and use the normal MA3 playback structure.
Different to our V1, macros will not overwrite sequences, so you can modify and customize them.

This update fixes syntax issues that occurred when using the file with MA3 version V2.1.1.2 or V2.1.1.5.
It also includes a small feature add-on in the form of a special plugin.
With this plugin (plugin 11) you can remove content from your show file to make it safe for handovers by leaving only the patch and group or basic layout views in the file.

This update fixes some small issues and the broken FX forms for the CFX section.
It also includes some general enhancements, like a new lable macro, new features for the old BUMP area (now called QA "Quick Assign" area) or strobe sequences in the IFX layout.
